Hello & Welcome to my page!
Born and raised in in Central Victoria, and now a resident of the beautiful plains of the Southern Riverina.
Predominantly self-taught, I had a love for photography as a teen but quickly fell head over heels when my first born came along. She was changing and growing so quickly that I just didn’t want to risk forgetting the whirlwind happening before us. (Because you know, sleep deprivation)
Another reason that I feel so strongly about recording our lives for the albums, (and, this one goes straight to the mums who never get in front of the camera!) is that out of the four pregnancies my dear Mum had, one of those being a Twin pregnancy, she hasn’t got a single photo of herself while pregnant. Not even one of her floating around in the background. Other than the fact I’m a little sad about not seeing mum when she was pregnant with my brother and I. I have heard her say multiple times how “it just wasn’t a thing” to have photos of yourself back then but she does regret not having any for us to keep in our albums.
So thanks to this and the fact the I’m smack in the middle of the early years with my three girls, Children and everyday life have been my favourite event to capture and document. There is just something magical about the honesty, chaos and sometimes challenge that they bring to the table.
If family isn’t what you’re after, fear not I love to get into many other genres and also love a challenge if it is something I have yet to give a go!
